Asia Cup 2022 Teams and Groups

The Asia Cup 2022 will feature a total of six teams. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are among them. Following the qualification round, one additional team will be qualified into the tournament. Hong Kong, Kuwait, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates will compete in the qualifying round.

The victorious squad will finish sixth in the competition. Asia Cup 2022 is divided into two groups. India, Pakistan, and the qualifying team comprise Group 1. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are in Group B.

Each team will play one match against the other teams in their group during the group stage. The top two teams from each group will advance to the super four round. Each team will play one match against each other during the super 4 phase. The top two teams will advance to the championship game.

So far, only India and Pakistan have announced their squads for Asia Cup 2022. India has named Rohit Sharma as their skipper while Pakistan has named Babar Azam as their captain.

Asia Cup 2022 Venues

The competition will be place in the United Arab Emirates. The competition, however, will be held in Sri Lanka. The competition was supposed to be held in Sri Lanka. However, due to the country's continuous political problems, the competition had to be relocated to the UAE.

Because the event will be held in the United Arab Emirates, facilities such as Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Sharjah Cricket Stadium, and Sharjah Cricket Stadium will host all of the games.
