In the second T20 international, South Africa defeated England by 58 runs as the visitors forced a decider after a significantly improved bowling and fielding performance.

In the first game on Wednesday, which England won by 41 runs in Bristol, South Africa was hammered for 234 runs and lost four catches. However, England came back to win the second game in Cardiff, holding the hosts to 147 runs in 16.4 overs after Proteas batter Rilee Rossouw scored 96 not out from 55 balls.
